Granulation Equipment – Disc Granulator

After pretreatment and humidification, the raw materials are metered and then transported to the feeding position of the disc granulator. At the same time, the material is atomized and added water at the falling point. The material rolls in the disc to form a nucleus ball. The nucleus combines with each other to form a pellet with the required particle size.

4. Optimal design of disc edge scraper, can effectively remove the adhesive material of the disc edge.

Notes during the using process:

1. During the installation process, it is necessary to pay attention to the direction of the ball disc and the direction of the scraper to be consistent, otherwise it will easily burn the motor;

2. The position of the discharge opening of the ball tray should be determined according to the plasticity of the material. The position of the discharge opening of the material with lower plasticity should be set at the lower right of the scraper; the position of the discharge opening of the material with higher plasticity should be set at the upper left of the scraper ; But it is not allowed to use the past coverage method to cut the material;

3. When the pre-humidified material is pelletized by the pelletizing disk, the rotation speed should not be too low. To form a full-disk pelletization, when the rotation speed is too low, it will affect the pelletizing speed and quality;

4. The flow of incoming materials must be strictly controlled. If the flow into the disc is large, it will result in a low efficiency of ball formation or a poor quality of the ball; the small flow rate will cause a low output, and the qualified ball cannot be released in time, which affects the quality of the ball.
