When the ball mill is running, due to improper operation (such as overload operation or abnormal lubrication, etc.), the babbitt alloy layer of the bearing bush is deformed, causing the contact between the bearing surface and the shaft to not meet the requirements and burning the bush, which will seriously affect the service life of the mill There were even safety incidents. When tile burning occurs, the mill must be stopped and repaired.
If emergency treatment is needed, it can be temporarily repaired on site, and then the main bearing bush can be replaced.
(1) Mild burns can be corrected manually. After they are smooth and clean, replace with new lubricating oil, and then use machining methods to achieve the desired contact accuracy.
(2) Local burnt damage can be repaired by repair welding bearing alloy. The burned part is cleaned, the spare bearing is combined into a financial, cast into a rod shape as a welding rod, the welding rod alloy is welded to the burned part with an oxyacetylene flame, and it is manually trimmed after cooling.
(3) If the alloy tile is severely worn, it is necessary to take out the alloy tile and burn all the remaining bearing alloy; remove oil stains and clean the hollow shaft surface corresponding to the alloy joint surface; add pressure plates to the axial ends of the alloy tile and install it Insert the bearing seat, lower the grinding body so that the gap between the hollow shaft and the alloy bush is equal to the design and manufacture gap; heat the spherical bush and the hollow shaft with oxygen, and slowly pour the pre-melted bearing alloy along the bushing until the two bushings are filled. ; After cooling and solidification, take out the spherical tile and scrape the tile surface.
The above method is only suitable for on-site emergency use, and preparations should be made to replace new tiles. It is recommended that two main bearing bushes be spared at the same time during the production of the mill. In case of burnt tiles, new tiles can be replaced in time, and the old tiles can be cast and repaired to improve the production efficiency and safety of the mill.
