1. The scope of application is different

Both impact crusher and cone crusher can be used as secondary crushing equipment, but the hardness of the materials crushed by the two is different. Generally speaking, cone crusher mainly crushes some harder materials, such as granite, basalt, tuff, river pebble, etc., while counter-attack crusher is used for crushing harder materials, such as limestone, limestone, etc.

In a word, the impact crusher is suitable for crushing materials with low toughness and less brittle medium hardness and below, and the cone crusher is suitable for crushing hard materials.

2. Different discharge sizes

The discharging granularity of the materials crushed by the two types of crushers is different. Generally speaking, the cone crusher is smaller than the impact crusher. In actual production, more cone crushers are used in ore dressing, while counter-breakers are used in building materials and construction projects.

3. Different grain types of finished products

The particle shape of the counter-breaker is good, the finished product has fewer edges and corners, and the powder is more; the finished product of the cone crusher has more needles and flakes, and the particle shape is not good.

4. Different processing capacity

Compared with counter-attack crushing, cone crusher has the characteristics of low energy consumption, large output and stable production. Therefore, cone crusher is often used in large-scale and high-yield production lines.

5. Different input costs

The price of cone crusher is more expensive than counterattack, but its wearing parts have a longer life, avoiding the trouble of frequent replacement of parts. In the long run, cone crusher is more cost-effective than counterattack.

It can be understood that the initial purchase cost of counter-breaking is low, and the later maintenance cost is higher; the initial cost of cone crushing is high, and the later investment cost is lower.

6. Different pollution levels

The noise pollution and dust pollution of counter-breaking are large; the pollution of cone crushing is small.

Which equipment to choose in actual production also needs to be selected according to different materials, incoming and outgoing granularity, and output. It is recommended that if it is a small stone production line, use counter-attack crushing. If it is a large stone production line and the material is hard, it is better to choose a cone crusher. If the particle size requirements are very strict, you can add a shaping machine.
