 Dust containing gas combustion and explosion must also have the following three conditions: first the explosion concentration is within the range of explosion limit; second the oxygen content is more than 13%; third the ignited flame may exit intense heat source.

In the design, we should take effective measures to inhibit the production of these three conditions that is to reduce the sensitivity of the system to the explosion, reduce the possibility of explosion. Design measures are to reduce the explosion hazard degree to the safety level when the measures to prevent the occurrence of the explosion are difficult to work out, so that the explosion caused no casualties, the device can be used within a short time after the explosion.

In addition, the operator can process the safe operation for the equipment, which is also the key to preventdust explosion, so strengthening the personnel management is particularly important. It’s required to provide the theoretical knowledge training for the operators, make the operations staff aware of the dust explosion hazard and how to effectively suppress dust and anti-explosion, strengthen the labor discipline, pay attention to operation of the bag type dust collector, prohibit the electric welding, gas cutting operation and fire into the dust during the operation of bag type dust collector.
