The corrugated sidewall belt conveyor can also be called a high-inclination belt conveyor. The equipment has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and can realize large-incline transportation, compact structure, and small area. With these unique advantages, the equipment is widely used in coal, chemical, building materials, metallurgy, electric power, light industry, food, ports, ships and other industries.

2. Roller structure and function
According to the working conditions and material conveying characteristics, different idlers such as upper leveling buffer rollers, parallel upper rollers, compound lower rollers, friction upper leveling and centering rollers, friction lowering centering rollers, etc. are respectively provided at different positions of the conveyor belt. It can ensure that the conveyor belt can run stably and reliably at all positions without deviation; and an anti-deviation alarm device, two-way rope pull switch, etc. are set at the head frame to play a dual protective role;

3. Conveyor belt types and applications
The conveyor belt is a sidewall belt, which is composed of a base belt, a sidewall and a partition. The appearance of the base belt is the same as that of an ordinary conveyor belt, but it has greater lateral rigidity. The ribs are made into a wave shape to enable the conveyor belt to bypass the convex and concave arc sections of the rollers to meet the requirements of the conveyor line. The shape of the corrugation can be sine wave, square wave, W-shaped wave and so on. On the base tape between the two ribs, there are partitions arranged at a certain interval. Separator can be divided into T type, TS type, C type, TC type, TCS type according to its different section.
(1) T-type and TS-type are suitable for occasions with inclination angle β≤40°;
(2) Type C is suitable for occasions where the inclination angle β>40° and the material fluidity is good;
(3) TC type and TCS type are suitable for applications where β>40°, material viscosity and particle size are large.
4. Cleaning device
The cleaner is used to clean the adhered materials on the conveyor belt. There are two main types: head cleaner and tail cleaner.
(1) The vibration cleaner is installed on the head frame, near the discharge drum;
(2) The empty section cleaner is installed on the upper and lower branches in front of the tail drum to clean the non-working surface of the conveyor belt;

The corrugated sidewall conveyor has the high reliability of a general-purpose belt conveyor. At the same time, there is no chain jam, floating chain, chain breaking phenomenon that often occurs in buried scraper conveyors, and the slipping and bucket dropping phenomenon that often occurs in bucket elevators. At the same time, the conveyor belt has corrugated ribs and a large loading end surface. At the same inclination angle, the conveying capacity of the general belt conveyor is significantly improved; the material friction during operation is small, the energy consumption is low, and the total installed power is compared with the same conveying capacity. Other conveying equipment is significantly reduced; the use of corrugated sidewall conveyor belts, reversing wheels and reversing rollers and other transition devices, can bend and convey multiple times in the same vertical plane, and can achieve more complex layouts.
