The source of small ceramsites is to purchase standard small ceramsites directly from the ceramsite factory, and the price is about twice that of large ceramsites. The raw material balls granulated in the production process of the ceramsite factory have a particle size of 10mm or larger. They will expand during the firing process. The finished ceramsite particles with good swelling effect have a particle size of more than 20mm. Only part of the scraps in the firing process, the particle size is less than 15mm, but the proportion is small. Therefore, the output of small ceramsite in the ceramsite factory is low.

The other is to crush and screen large ceramsites to obtain small ceramsites that meet the particle size. Considering the purchase price of large ceramsites and small ceramsites, many manufacturers will choose to crush large ceramsites.
