1. Foundation Construction
Before installing the rotary kiln, the required basic conditions should be determined and the construction should be carried out according to the construction drawings designed by our company or design organization. After the foundation construction of the rotary kiln is completed, the surveyor should be asked to review the foundation. If the actual error exceeds the design allowable error, it shall be corrected in time. It should be especially noted that as a large-scale equipment, the size of the kiln body and supporting device of the rotary kiln is large. Before installation, there should be no obstacles such as factory buildings above the equipment foundation. In the meantime, sufficient space must be reserved around the foundation for lifting the kiln body.
2. Determine the Installation Location
After the foundation of the rotary kiln is completely completed, the installer enters the field and retests the foundation, determines the centerline position of the rotary kiln according to the retest results, and then uses this as a reference to determine the precise position of each supporting device.
3. Installation of Supporting Device
After confirming the installation position, the installer must first put the main supporting device of the rotary kiln in place and fix it with anchor bolts. Make sure that the supporting device is flat and firmly fixed on the equipment foundation and can bear the load of the kiln body.
4. Kiln Body Installation
After the rotary kiln support device is installed in place, installation of the kiln body can begin. The length of a section of kiln body is about 10m, the actual length will vary according to the model of rotary kiln and the position of the supporting device. According to the length and diameter of the kiln body, different lifting equipment will be selected for installation. Sometimes multiple lifting equipment will be used to hoist a section of kiln body at the same time, so sufficient space must be reserved around the foundation of the rotary kiln to use. During the installation of the kiln body, the position of the wheel belt can be fine-tuned according to the actual position of the support device to compensate for the errors between the individual foundations during the civil construction process.
5. Installation and Sealing of Cover
After the installation of the kiln body is completed, the installation of the rotary kiln head, kiln tail and cover body, and the installation of the gear cover in the transmission device can be carried out. These covers can make the rotary kiln have better air tightness, and at the same time can ensure that the environment is clean and comfortable during the normal operation of the equipment.
6. Kiln Lining
In general, rotary kilns with higher temperatures are required to have kiln lining, which can prevent the kiln body from dissipating heat too fast, and can prevent the main part of the rotary kiln from being damaged due to excessive temperature. Usually the refractory materials of the main part of the kiln are refractory bricks and refractory castables. According to the temperature of the rotary kiln, different refractory materials are selected for masonry or pouring.
7. Installation of Accessory Parts
The fuel of the rotary kiln can be various powders, liquids, and gases with high calorific value. Different burners can be installed according to different fuels. At the same time, according to the needs of the calcination process, infrared temperature detectors, infrared imagers, thermocouples, pressure transmitters, kiln body infrared scanners and other devices can be installed at the kiln head and tail of the rotary kiln.
8. Secondary Grouting
After the main body and accessory parts of the rotary kiln are completely installed, the rotary kiln should be leveled and calibrated again, the errors generated during the installation process should be calibrated again, and then the equipment should be grouted again to completely fix it. After the second grouting maintenance is completed, the installation of the equipment is completely completed and can be put into operation.
