The bucket elevator is composed of an upper cover, a driving device, a middle case, an inspection door, a feed port, a discharge port, a hopper and a rubber belt. The driving spindle is equipped with a roller or a sprocket. When the lifting height is high, a hydraulic coupling is used. Common types of hoppers are shallow buckets, deep buckets and sharp-faced buckets with guide grooves. The temperature of the materials conveyed by ordinary rubber belts does not exceed 60 ° C, and the temperature of the materials with clamped steel tape can reach 80 ° C, while the temperature of materials using heat-resistant rubber belts generally does not exceed 150 ° C.

Working principle of bucket elevator:

The traction part of TD bucket elevator is rubber belt, and the hopper fixed on the rubber belt at certain intervals. The rubber belt by passes the drum at the head and bottom of the elevator respectively, which form a lifting load closed loop system for branching and descending unloaded branches. When in operation, the driving device arranged at the head of the elevator transmits power to the rubber belt and hopper through the head roller. The material enters the hopper from the feed port at the bottom of the elevator. The material is lifted to the discharge port of the head by hopper. Under the combined action of centrifugal force and gravity, the material in the hopper is discharged through the discharge port.
