Cause and resolution of jaw crusher failures

Fault 1: The sudden stop of the equipment.
Cause:
1) The materials are obstructed in the discharge, causing the obstruction of the camera.
2) The triangulated driving belt is too loose, causing the belt to slip.
3) The eccentric shaft sleeve is loose, causing that without gaps on both sides of the bearing base, the eccentric shaft is glued, cannot be rotated.
4) The tension of work place is too low, when there is large materials, it is not able to crush.
5) Damage to the bearing
Resolution:
1) Clean the clogged materials in the discharge to ensure smooth discharge flow.
2) Tighten or replace belt.
3) Reinstall or replace the cuff.
4) Correctly adjust the working voltage to suit the requirements of the operating voltage.
5) Replace the bearing.
Malfunction 2: The operation of the movable jaw is normal, but the grinding task is stopped.
Cause:
1) The rupture of the tension spring.
2) The rod fracture.
3) The fall or rupture of the liner.
Resolution:
1) Replace the tension spring.
2) Replace the rod.
3) Reinstall or replace the liner.
Fault 3: Production cannot be met by the factory standard.
Cause:
1) The hardness or toughness of the ground material exceeds the predetermined range of instructions.
2) The motor connection position is inverted, the equipment operation is reversed (the movement of the movable jaw is clockwise), or the motor must be in connected triangle but in the star connection.
3) The discharge opening is less than a predetermined limit
4) Displacement of the jaw.
5) Low voltage of the workplace.
6) The gap is too large after wear of the jaw and the bearing, causing the relative rotation of the bearing outer.
Resolution:
1) Replace or increase crusher.
2) Adjust the connection.
3) Adjust the discharge opening according to the predetermined specification, and increase the crusher for fine crushing.
4) Check the jaw distance measurements, if it does not meet the standard, should replace. Adjust the relative position between the movable and fixed jaw, to ensure that the lower tooth tip to the upper tooth, fix to tighten, prevent displacement.
5) Increase workplace tension to accommodate heavy-duty host requirements.
6) Replace the bearing or movable jaw.
