The screening process or sieving effect is related to many factors in fact. Such as material properties, screening equipment performance, operation and management. The following is a brief analysis of the effect of material properties on the screening process.
Material properties include: particle size characteristics, water content, mud content, shape and density.
1. Influence of particle size characteristics
The "easy sieve", "hard sieve" and "sieving sieve" in the sieved material have obvious influence on the screening process. Obviously, the sieving effect of the material with more sieve is better, and the sieving efficiency can be higher under the condition of certain treatment capacity. On the contrary, if the raw material "difficult sieve" and "resistance sieve" content, it is difficult to sieve, not only the screening efficiency is low, and processing capacity is low.
If the raw material content has small particles, two sieve surface material size and greatly exceed the size of the sieve, the sieve can be used to remove the larger auxiliary screen sieve oversize particles, and then sift fine content of materials. After two screening, not only can improve the screening efficiency, but also extend the service life of the screen surface.
2. Material humidity
The moisture content of the material reflects the amount of water content. General materials contain water there are three: First, combined with water, it is closely combined with the material together; Second, the adsorption of water, exists in the material of the cracks in the pores; Third, the external moisture, material on the surface with water. The above three kinds of water, the former two of the screening process has no effect, mainly the impact of external moisture screening carried out.
3. Influence of material containing mud
Materials such as mixtures containing clumps (such as clay, etc.), even in the case of very low water, screening may also be difficult. Because a little moisture on the clumps of clay material, the fine particles mixed into the product on the screen. Once the clumps of clay clog the mesh, it is difficult to remove it from the sieve so that the sieving process cannot proceed.
4. Particle shape effects
Particle shape on the screening process and the impact of the size of a great relationship between the shape of the screen. So in the actual screening process, through the appropriate choice of sieve shape of the way to weaken the particle shape of the screening efficiency.
