Introduction to disc ball forming machine
I. Introduction to disc ball forming machine
The disc ball forming machine is one of the commonly used equipment for granulation, with the characteristics of simple structure, high strength, easy maintenance, convenient use, high granulation rate and uniform particle size. The uniformly mixed raw materials enter the disc at a uniform speed. Under the combined effect of gravity, centrifugal force and friction between materials, the materials make up and down reciprocating motion in the disc until the specified particle size is reached and overflows from the edge of the disc. It is the main equipment for powdered materials to form balls.
II. Working principle of disc ball forming machine
The raw material powder is made into ball cores with uniform particle size and then sent into the
ball forming disc. After entering the ball forming disc, the ball core is affected by centrifugal force, friction and gravity in the disc, moves along a parabola, and continuously squeezes out the water in the ball from the surface during the rolling process. Due to the cohesiveness and plasticity of the material, the ball core adheres to the raw material powder during the movement and gradually grows. Due to the cohesiveness of the material and the natural volatilization of the surface liquid film, the material ball has a certain strength. When the parameters such as the inclination angle, the height of the disc edge, the rotation speed and the moisture content of the ball-forming disc are constant, the balls of different particle sizes leave the disc edge at different departure angles due to different gravity and roll down, and then are discharged from the disc edge as the inclined disc rotates.
3. Structural features of disc-type ball-forming machine
The pulley and belt are driven by the main motor, and the pinion is driven by the reducer, and the pinion meshes with the large gear fixed on the bottom of the disc. The large gear is installed on the main shaft fixed on the frame through a special and reasonable design to support the work of the entire ball-forming disc. After the material enters the ball-forming disc, the disc body is continuously rotated and water is added to make the material evenly stick together to form spherical particles. The disc bottom scraper and disc wall scraper assembly are designed in the middle and upper part of the disc body to prevent the material from sticking to the wall, thereby greatly improving the service life of the machine. With the continuous rotation of the motor and the continuous entry of materials, batch production can be realized to meet the needs of continuous work.
The disc body of 1.2m and below is directly driven by the reducer motor to rotate because the disc body is very small, with a simple structure and convenient maintenance.
The bottom scraper assembly is divided into powered bottom scraper and unpowered bottom scraper, which can be selected according to the process requirements.
A dust collection hood can be set above the disc body according to the process or environmental protection needs to avoid dust pollution during the work process.
