LS Series Screw Conveyor Introduction
1. LS series screw conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment without flexible traction mechanism. It is mainly used for conveying such as: coal, slag, cement, grain and other powdery, granular and small lump materials with low viscosity and not easy to agglomerate. It can be widely used in building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal and other industries. This series of equipment is generally used for short-distance continuous conveying of bulk materials in the horizontal or slightly inclined (inclination angle β≤15°) direction, and can mix and stir the materials during the conveying process.

3. Working principle:
The working principle of the LS series screw conveyor is that when the material is fed into the fixed trough from the feeding port, the material accumulated in the lower part of the trough under the joint action of the gravity of the material and the friction with the trough does not rotate with the screw blades, but moves forward under the action of the rotating helical blades until it is discharged from the discharge port, so as to realize the transportation of materials.
4. Structural features: LS series screw conveyor is mainly composed of screw blade shaft, trough, hanging bearing, transmission device, supporting device, material inlet and outlet, etc. The main structural features of each part are as follows:
4.1 The head and tail bearing seats are arranged on the outside of the trough, which prevents dust from entering the bearings and makes installation and maintenance more convenient;
4.2 The optimized spiral blade solves the problem that the discharge port is prone to material blockage;
4.3 The screw spindle adopts a variable diameter structure, which increases the volume of the hanging bearing, thereby reducing the contact between the hanging bearing and the material and reducing its wear;
4.4 The connection between the screw shaft and the hanging bearing adopts embedded installation, and there is no need to move axially during installation and disassembly, so maintenance and repair are convenient;
4.5 The overall structure of the suspension bearing is compact, and the axial and radial dimensions are small, which can avoid the phenomenon of material jamming;
4.6 The suspension bearing has an improved sealing and lubricating device, so that the bearing is effectively protected and lubricated, and its service life can be significantly improved;
4.7 Hanging bearings are fixed at the joints of the screw shafts of each section, which improves the overall rigidity while ensuring the coaxiality of the screw shafts.
