A LECA plant, Our Successful Case in Thailand
Recently, a new set of lightweight expanded clay aggregate equipment has been delivered to Thailand. Let us see what they use in the high temperature site condition. This lightweight expanded clay aggregate (LECA) plant includes the feeding system, crushing system, blending system, granulation system, shaping system, and dust collecting system.
Composition of eco-friendly and high efficiency lightweight expanded clay aggregate plant
This LECA plant mainly consists of raw material preparation, feeding system, crushing system, blending system, shaping system, calcination system, and dust collecting system. What confirms our perfect design process is our high quality equipment. The LECA plant we designs is high efficiency, energy saving and environment protection with no dust leakage and well finished products.
Feeding system
The feeding system includes two stock bins, two apron conveyors, two electronic belt scales and 1# belt conveyor. The red materials and white materials are sent to be stock in yard. The excavator feeds the raw materials to relevant bins; the apron conveyors sends materials to electronic belt scales from bins; the electronic belt scales transports materials to 1# belt conveyor.
Crushing system
The crushing system includes a clay bar crusher, two roll crushing machines and 2#, 3#, 4#, 5# belt conveyors in series. The materials are sent from 1# belt conveyor to 2# belt conveyor. The materials are sent by 2# belt conveyor and crushed by the clay bar crusher. The crushed materials fall in the 3# belt conveyor and are sent to the roller crusher. The crushed materials fall in the 4# belt conveyor and are sent to second roller crusher. For further crushing, the crushed materials fall in the 5# belt conveyor and enter into the blending system.
Blending system
The blending system is including two double-shaft mixers in series.
The crushed materials fall in the 5# belt conveyor and enter into the blending system. First, the materials are sent to 1# double-shaft mixer and then 2# double-shaft mixer.
The double-shaft mixers have water spray system. Each water spray system has eight nozzles. Red materials and white materials are mixed in with 16% water. Finally, the wet powders are in the granulation system.
Granulation system
The granulation system is a double roller granulating machine, which consists of drive roller and driven roller. The mixed materials enter into the granulating machine and are extruded by the rollers of the granulating machine. The extruded materials are in bars. The scraper, which is equipped with the granulating machine can control the bar length by cutting. The cut materials fall in the 6# belt conveyor and then enter into granulating machine.
Shaping system
The shaping machine is a cylinder with a certain inclination, which is driven by the idler to rotate in low speed. The granulated materials are shaped to improve the roundness by the friction and gravity.
Calcination system
This system is composed of smoke chamber, splice part, burner, roots blower and cooler. The materials, which are treated by granulating machine, are called as raw materials. The raw materials are sent to splice part by 1# high angle conveyor and calcined. The calcined materials are called as clinker. The clinker, which is cooled by cooler, enters into 2# high angle conveyor. 2# high angle conveyor brings the clinker to rotary screen.
Dust collecting system
The dust collecting system composes of the air cooler, the rotoclone collector, the bag filter, the dust removal fan, the chimney, the cinder valve and the spiral conveyor. The exhaust temperature should not be higher than 250℃. Regarding as the model selection of centrifugal fan, it should make the kiln in the negative pressure condition, at the same time, it should guarantee that the dust would not block dust collecting pipeline.
