The ball mill is a kind of cylindrical grinding equipment, which is used to grind or stir the raw materials such as mineral, chemical, ceramic or paint. The ball mill with high quality is expensive, which can grind the raw material to 5 nm, thus greatly increase the specific surface area and the reaction efficiency. The mill has a certain rotation speed when grinning. Under the rotation speed, the steel ball in the mill is just raised and spattered along with the direction of mill rotation, therefore the grinning effect is reached in the collision of the material when spattering.

Ball mill is the key equipment for the further grinning after crushing the material , therefore it is widely used in industrial production of cement, silica sand, refractory materials, chemical fertilizer, glass and other products, is also used in metal and non-metallic mineral beatification industry. The ball mill can carry on the dry and wet grinding of various mineral raw materials. According to the different ways of unloading, it can be divided into grate ball mill and overflow ball mill.
