    Project Overview

    Shanxi Meijin Magnesium Alloy Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Meijin Energy Group. It is one of the main projects supporting the circular economy development of Meijin Energy Group. It mainly deals in magnesium ingots, magnesium alloy ingots, tar and other products. In October 2010, two sets of equipment systems, such as vertical preheater, rotary kiln and kiln tail bag dust collector, for its 15,000-ton annual output of metal magnesium production line project, mainly for white burning and kiln tail dust removal, were provided by Henan Zhengkuang Machinery Co., Ltd. The company supplies, and completes the installation and commissioning. The equipment is safe, efficient and energy-saving, which greatly improves the utilization rate of resources and production efficiency. All indicators meet the industry standards and are successfully accepted.

    Project Solution

    According to the new Pidgeon magnesium smelting process and the actual conditions of Meijin Energy ore, raw fuels used, production capacity, etc., Zheng Mining Machinery and technical personnel conducted on-site exploration and inspection to reserve raw materials, dolomite calcination, and high-temperature flue gas from rotary kilns in the production process of magnesium metal. Dust removal provides a solution that satisfies the other party.

    1) Raw material reserve

    Considering the half-month production and usage, the dolomite storage site is planned, and the ferrosilicon and fluorite storage warehouses are reasonably arranged. The dolomite is crushed to the required particle size in the mine and stored in the yard after entering the factory. Ferrosilicon and fluorite are directly stored in warehouses after entering the factory.

    2) Dolomite calcination

    The project consists of two dolomite calcination production lines, using 2 sets of energy-saving and environmentally friendly Ф2.5x40m rotary kilns and 2 sets of 6-tap vertical preheaters. Dolomite with qualified particle size is transported by the belt to the top silo of the vertical preheater and enters the preheater through the material pipe. After the chute enters the rotary kiln, it is calcined at a high temperature of 1250°C into active calcined white, and then unloaded into the cooler, where the high-temperature calcined white exchanges heat with the cold air blown by the fan to cool the active calcined white to below 100 °C, and the air is preheated Above 600℃, it is used as combustion-supporting air into the kiln to support combustion.

    3) Kiln tail dust removal

    Choose 2 large bag filter. The high-temperature flue gas generated by the combustion of the rotary kiln, after heat exchange with the dolomite in the preheater, the temperature drops below 250~280 ℃, enters the bag filter for dust removal, and is discharged into the atmosphere through the high-temperature fan, and the dust-containing gas is discharged. The concentration is less than 30mg/m3.
